Thankful to be living in the sanctuary of a beautiful island during this bizarre time. I had to postpone my plans to open a pop up for the summer season selling local handmade goods and art here in the village. So I now have a small travelling studio and retail venue instead, in the form of a bus:)
I focus mainly on ceramics, and learning how to use the potter’s wheel. I have a BFa on painting, and used to make silver jewellery. Jewellery is creeping back into my life, but I am working with brass. In 2015-16, I went to the Kootenay School of Studio Art to take the ceramics program there.
